The logo design for Straight Stitching Productions and the poster designs for Straight Stitching, Carrying the Calf, and What If …? were done by visual artist Rudolf Stussi. Rudy was the first designer for the Wakefield Tricycle Company but soon concentrated his considerable talents on painting. He divides his time between Canada and Switzerland and recently had major exhibitions in Berlin and Zurich as well as painting a number of murals in Canada. He designed Nelvana’s film of Heidi.
A full colour book Rudolf Stussi: Painter documenting his career is published by Benteli Publishers in Berne and can be purchased at the Art Gallery of Ontario and David Mirvish Books.
His artwork can be seen at canartscene.
